Cabinet expansion may happen in Uttarakhand soon

BJP started the trend of keeping some seats of the cabinet vacant

There have been discussions for a long time about the expansion of Dhami cabinet in Uttarakhand. Even just before the Lok Sabha elections, discussions were raised in full swing about filling the vacant seats of the cabinet. But in view of the Lok Sabha elections, the cabinet expansion was postponed. But after the completion of the Lok Sabha elections, discussions about cabinet expansion have started gaining momentum again.

While some people believe that in Uttarakhand, the BJP also started a trend to keep some seats of the cabinet vacant. Two seats of the cabinet were also kept vacant in the Trivendra government. While in the second term of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, three cabinet seats were kept vacant earlier, while another seat became vacant after the death of Chandan Ramdas. After which the cabinet has not been expanded till now.

Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat’s statement has also come out regarding the vacant seats of the cabinet. Harish Rawat says that Congress has always given full flash cabinet in the state. But Chief Minister Dhami has kept the cabinet seats vacant so that the anger seen among the MLAs can be controlled by the empty cabinet seats. He said that overall the empty cabinet seats seem like sour grapes.
