Passengers going to the hills from Haldwani should pay attention. Due to the increasing pressure of vehicles from Nainital to Kainchi Dham every Saturday and Sunday, the police has implemented a new traffic plan on weekends. In such a situation, if you are going to the hills or coming from the hills, then you must read the traffic plan first.

Due to the increasing pressure of vehicles every weekend on the route from Nainital as well as Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchi Dham to Almora, the police has again implemented a new traffic plan. On Saturdays and Sundays, entry of heavy vehicles will be prohibited from 10 am to 10 pm.

The traffic system will be something like this

  • Vehicles going to Nainital, Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchi Dham and Almora from Bareilly Road will be diverted from Teenpani towards Gaula Bypass and sent from Nariman Tiraha.
  • Vehicles going to Nainital from Rampur Road will be diverted from Panchayat Ghar Tiraha. They will be sent from RTO Road Hanuman Temple towards Kaladhungi.
  • Vehicles going from Rampur Road to Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchi Dham and Almora will go from Sheetal Hotel Tiraha to Teenpani, then Gaula Bypass towards Nariman Tiraha.
  • Vehicles going from Kaladhungi Road to Nainital, Bhimtal, Bhawali, Kainchi Dham and Almora will be diverted from Unchapul, Laldanth Tiraha. All vehicles will go via Hydel Gate and Kaltax Tiraha.
