Irrigation Department Chief Engineer Sanjay Shukla said that work has been done on more than a dozen work plans at a cost of about 250 crores. Under which most of the works have been completed, mainly the work of the security wall of Garjia Mata Temple located in Ramnagar, the Baliyanala landslide affected area of ​​​​Nainital, has also been almost completed.

Irrigation Department gave instructions to expedite flood protection works

Along with this, apart from the flood protection wall, the work of Haldwani Kaladhungi Unchapul canal covering has also been almost completed, the work of canal covering from SBI Bank to Nawabi Road has also been completed. At the same time, the work of renovation of the damaged canals of the irrigation department under Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar during the disaster last year is going on. He told that the irrigation department is working fast on all the schemes which will be completed soon.
