According to the information received, some people of Manera area of Uttarkashi district saw a dead body on the banks of Bhagirathi river on Sunday morning. There was a stir in the area after seeing the dead body. The villagers informed the police about this. After which the police reached the spot and took the body in their custody.
Age seems to be more than 60 years
It is being told that the body is of an elderly woman. Whose age seems to be more than 60 years. Kotwal Amarjeet Singh said that after filling the Panchayat Nama of the body, it has been sent to the hospital for postmortem. The body has not been identified yet. Efforts are being made to identify it.
