Uttarakhand: A woman drowned in the Ganges while bathing, her partner jumped in to save her, no trace of both was found
A woman drowned in the Ganga river while bathing in Rishikesh. To save the woman, her partner also jumped into the Ganga. But he also drowned. On receiving the information, the SDRF team started searching for both of them. But no clue of both has been found yet.
Woman and youth drowned in Ganga while bathing
According to the information received, Lovepreet Singh, son of Sukhbir Singh, resident of Delhi, had rented a bike from Muni Ki Reti. The youth had come to Rishikesh to roam with a woman. While bathing in Neem Beach, the woman started drowning. Seeing the woman drowning, the youth also jumped into the Ganga.
Search operation continues in search of both
The youth also drowned in the Ganga while trying to save the woman. On receiving the information, the SDRF team reached the spot and started searching for both of them. But no clue of both has been found yet. At present, the woman has not been identified. The SDRF team is conducting a search operation in search of both of them.
