Dehradun Police has arrested the youth who committed the vehicle theft incident from Patel Nagar area within 24 hours. Police has also recovered the stolen scooty from the accused.

On June 30, Santosh Rana, wife of Rupesh Rana, resident of Patel Nagar, had given a complaint to the police regarding the matter. In the complaint, the police had told that her scooty has been stolen from her house by an unknown person. On the basis of the complaint, the police took the matter seriously and registered a case and started investigating the matter.
Stolen scooty recovered from the accused
The SSP formed an investigation team and directed to arrest the accused as soon as possible. On July 1, the police team arrested the accused Monu Rawat (25) son of Jai Prakash Rawat, who gave an anonymous report of the vehicle theft incident, from Kargi Chowk with the stolen scooty.
