Uttarakhand: Heavy rain wreaks havoc in Haldwani, entire area from railway station to Lalkuan’s Khaddi mohalla submerged

Monsoon has knocked in Uttarakhand. Lalkuan has been submerged due to heavy rain late at night. Due to heavy rains, the entire area from the railway station to Khaddi Mohalla was submerged in water.

SDM inspected

SDM Paritosh Verma inspected the entire area as soon as he got the information about the matter and directed the concerned officials to correct the arrangements as soon as possible.

Meteorologists issued alert for these districts

Meteorologists on Monday issued an orange alert by forecasting heavy to very heavy rains in some areas of Nainital, Champawat, Dehradun, Pauri, Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar districts. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Bageshwar and Pithoragarh as well as Tehri district. While light rain is expected in other districts of the state.
