Uttarakhand: Medical Service Honor Ceremony was organized, doctors were honored

On the occasion of National Doctors Day, a Medical Service Honor Ceremony was organized in Dehradun today where all the doctors contributing in the field of medicine were honored. Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal attended the program as the chief guest and gave a positive message by honoring the doctors.

Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal said that today many doctors were called from all over Uttarakhand. Especially those who are serving in remote areas, which is a good initiative. He said that doctors are considered to be the form of God and this is the reason why the government is also working in the field of medicine inside Uttarakhand. That is why a big decision has been taken that the service extension has been increased from 60 years to 65 years so that there is no shortage of doctors in the hilly areas.

Health Secretary R Rajesh Kumar said that doctors should treat patients well and doctors should keep improving themselves, this was the message given today. He said that this time the government has increased the service extension for specialist doctors from 60 years to 65 years. Due to which we are expecting that many people will apply. He said that a retired DG has also applied that she wants to work in a remote area. For this, he expresses his gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Health Minister.
