Uttarakhand: Rain wreaked havoc in Bhimtal, debris reached many houses, people ran away to save their lives
Monsoon has knocked in Uttarakhand. Rain continues from the mountains to the plains. The havoc of rain has been seen in Bhimtal as well. Due to the torrential rains in Kuantal on the bypass road of the city since late Sunday night, the debris of the hill entered the houses of the people. Seeing the debris coming, people ran away and saved their lives.

Due to the torrential rains since late Sunday night, the debris reached three houses at night. Seeing which the people of the house ran out and saved their lives. The victims spent the night at their relatives’ house due to fear. On receiving the information, MLA Ram Singh Kaida and SDM Pramod Kumar inspected the spot on Monday.

After inspecting the spot, SDM Pramod Kumar has asked to prepare a report of the damage caused by the disaster. MLA Sam Singh Kaida said that the affected families will be given financial assistance by Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat and the district administration.
