Uttarakhand: The meeting of the Board of Directors of Development Corporation Limited was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, various proposals were discussed

The 247th meeting of the Board of Directors of Uttarakhand Seeds and Terai Development Corporation Limited was held in the Secretariat on Monday under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan. Various proposals were discussed during the meeting. The Additional Chief Secretary directed that the corporation should also consider other options to strengthen the corporation. Efforts should also be made to work on new options in view of its capacity and strength. He said that efforts can be made in the field of vegetables, fruits and flowers in the mountainous areas.

The Additional Chief Secretary also directed that the outstanding payments of the industry should be made on time. He also directed to settle the outstanding of farmers’ transport fare etc. on time. He said that the unused land under the corporation can be transferred to other departments, the income from this can be helpful in repaying the outstanding payments of the corporation and working on other options of income of the corporation. He said that efforts should be made to improve its efficiency and capacity to strengthen the corporation.

On this occasion, Secretary Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Vinod Kumar Suman, District Magistrate Udham Singh Nagar and MD Uttarakhand Seeds and Terai Development Corporation Limited Udayraj Singh along with other senior officials were present.
