Drinking and driving proved costly

On Sunday, Gopeshwar Police Station was conducting checking campaigns between Mandal-Gopeshwar. During this, the driver Diwan Singh (35) son of Kunwar Singh Panwar, resident of Rudraprayag was found driving under the influence of alcohol. In such a situation, the police arrested the driver Diwan Singh under 185 MV Act for driving under the influence of alcohol and seized the vehicle.

Police campaign continues

Let us tell you that from June 1 to June 30, Gopeshwar Police has seized six vehicles for rash driving and drunk driving. This campaign of Chamoli Police will continue further.
