Uttarakhand: Two vehicles collide in a huge accident, five injured, two in critical condition

Two vehicles collided on the Tanakpur-Pithoragarh National Highway. Five people were injured in this accident. Out of which the condition of two is said to be serious. While three people have suffered minor injuries.

Two vehicles collided on Tanakpur-Pithoragarh NH

Two vehicles collided near Fartyal Garden on the Tanakpur-Pithoragarh National Highway in Champawat district. According to the information received, the dumper vehicle UK 04 CC 0317 coming from Chalthi collided with the car UK 04U 5859 going from Pithoragarh to Haldwani. The car got damaged in this accident.

Two seriously injured

In this accident, car riders Khushal Singh (60) son of Chanchal Kanyal resident of Khatima, Deepa Kanyal (70) wife Pushkar Kanyal resident of Haldwani were seriously injured. While the driver Gajendra Singh (45) son of Pushkar Singh Kanyal, resident of Haldwani, Leela Kanyal (57) wife of Khushal Kanyal, resident of Khatima and Pooja Kanyal (32) wife of Gajendra Kanyal, resident of Haldwani, suffered minor injuries.

All the injured were taken to Champawat Hospital for treatment. Where seriously injured Khushal Singh and Deepa Kanyal have been referred to a higher center. While the remaining three injured have been sent home after treatment.
