Uttarakhand: Cloud burst in Nainital, 96 mm rain recorded in one hour

Let us tell you that on Monday, heavy rains occurred in many parts of the hill districts along with Dehradun. Let us tell you that in the last 12 hours, the maximum rainfall of 222 mm was recorded in Sama of Bageshwar. Apart from this, 145.2 mm of rain was recorded in Nainital, 176.3 mm in Lohaghat, 145 mm in Rikhdikhal of Pauri and 96.2 mm in Roshanabad of Haridwar.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for these districts
According to the Director of the Meteorological Department, Vikram Singh, today the red alert of heavy to very heavy rain will continue in some areas of Nainital, Almora, Champawat, Bageshwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh districts of Kumaon division. Whereas a yellow alert of heavy rain has been issued for some areas of the capital Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri and Tehri.
