The journey from Dehradun to Mussoorie is now going to be even easier. Jhajra-Mussoorie road has got in-principle approval. After the construction of this road, Dehradun city will get some relief from traffic and congestion.

Jhajra-Mussoorie road got in-principle approval

CM Dhami recently met Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. In which he requested the Union Road Transport Minister to give consent to the construction of Mussoorie-Dehradun road. On the request of CM Dhami, in-principle approval has been given to Jhajra-Mussoorie road.

The journey to Mussoorie will be even easier

Let us tell you that after the construction of this road, vehicles going to Mussoorie for Delhi-Dehradun Expressway and Himachal, Punjab etc. will be sent directly to Mussoorie without entering Dehradun city. After the construction of this road, it will help in organizing the traffic in Dehradun and the crowd will be reduced.

40 km long road project for Dehradun-Mussoorie

This road will start from Jhajra roundabout on NH 7 and will end in Mussoorie near Library Chowk. The length of this road to be built for Dehradun-Mussoorie will be 40 km. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 3425 crore. Nitin Gadkari gave in-principle approval to this project.
