‘When our government comes, EVM and Agniveer…’, what did Akhilesh promise to end?

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, while participating in the discussion on the motion of thanks on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, said that it seems that a defeated government is in power. The public is saying that this is a government that will fall, not run.

Akhilesh Yadav said that 15 August 1947 was the day of independence of the country, while 4 June is the day of freedom from communal politics. This election has further broken the politics that divides while the politics that unites has been further united.

He said that now this country will not run on anyone’s personal aspirations but on people’s aspirations. The government talks of a billion economy but 35 percent growth is not possible. At what level do we stand in the Hunger Index? We are very low in this index. We are the fifth largest economy in the world, but where are we in the Happiness Index?

He said that the Prime Minister says that he will create the fifth largest economy, but what is the per capita income? While discussing UP, he said that the government of the place where the Prime Minister comes from is saying that it will create a 3 trillion economy. For this, a growth rate of 35% is required, which I don’t think UP will be able to achieve.

‘People are looking for Kyoto in Banaras’

Akhilesh said that now the top-down politics is over. Now the voice of the people will rise from below, and the country will run on that. This election has given the message that now it will not be the will of the people but the will of the people. Regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency Banaras, he said that we want to go down to the bottom of the Ganga and know its pain.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the people of Banaras are searching for Kyoto by taking its photo to Gangaji. Perhaps the day Gangaji becomes clean, Kyoto will come out of Gangaji’s lap. Taking a jibe at the government regarding Smart City, he said that boats have come on the roads at the beginning of the rains. The people of Uttar Pradesh have only this request that where billions of rupees were looted in the name of development, the leaking roof in the first rain and the fallen wall of the station are a sign of meaninglessness. When will those who are trumpeting development take responsibility for this destruction? People are searching for Kyoto in Banaras.

The birth of education mafia is the achievement of 10 years

Akhilesh Yadav said that the achievement of the central government in the last ten years is that the education mafia has been born in the country. At the time when elections were being held in the country and the kind of situation there was in Uttar Pradesh. The youth used to prepare for the exams. They would return after giving the exam and would come to know that the paper has been leaked.

He said that the papers of all the exams that were held in UP have been leaked. The situation is the same not only in UP but in many other states as well. But after the results of the exam came on June 4, a voice was raised against it. The most prestigious paper of the country has also been leaked. But why is the paper being leaked? The truth is that the government does not want to give jobs to the youth, that is why it is leaking the paper. The achievement of the government in the last ten years is that the education mafia has been born. The hopes of the youth have been poisoned in Amritkaal.

Ayodhya’s victory is the victory of the voters of the country

Akhilesh Yadav said that now the public will not be influenced by anyone. But there has been one more victory, which is very important. I know that the people in power must have understood, that is the victory of Ayodhya. Ayodhya’s victory is the victory of the democratic understanding of the mature voters of the country. After this Akhilesh said-

Akhilesh Yadav attacked the government in a poetic manner in the Lok Sabha and said- Huzoor-e-Aala is silent till date in this sorrow, someone stole the show while we had arranged it.

We will remove EVMs at any cost

Akhilesh Yadav said in his address that when elections were held in the country and the code of conduct was implemented, we saw that the Election Commission was kind to some people. If that institution is impartial, then India’s democracy will be strong. He said that even today I do not trust EVMs. Even if I win all 80 seats, it will not happen. We had said in the election also that we will remove EVMs after winning with EVMs.

He said that if government institutions work impartially, not only will democracy shine but democracy will also become stronger. Mr. Chairman, there was no trust on EVMs even yesterday. Even if I win all 80 seats, there will be no trust on EVMs. We had said during the election also that we will work to remove EVMs. Until EVMs are removed, we socialists will stick to our point.

The one who was adopted was left orphaned

Akhilesh Yadav said that the UP which once formed the BJP government, was discriminated against. He cornered the government on the issue of expressways and said that whatever expressways have been built, they have been built from UP’s budget. The Centre has not given a single expressway. Akhilesh said that the picture of the village which the PM had adopted has not changed. In 10 years, there are the same unpaved footpaths, the same broken roads. I don’t know if he will even remember the name or not. I will not embarrass him by asking the name. It is not a good thing to leave someone who is adopted orphaned.

He said that the one who is adopted is not left orphaned. We want that in ten years, the picture of all those adopted villages should be placed in the House.

Whenever the India Block government is formed, we will remove Agniveer

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that the concern about Agniveer still remains. I have also studied in a military school. I have spoken to my peers and seniors and have taken information from them. Schemes like Agniveer are compromising the security of the country. We will not accept this. Today or tomorrow or anytime if the India alliance comes to power, Agniveer will be finished.

Akhilesh said that border security cannot be done with the help of Agniveer scheme. Whenever the India Block comes to power, it will work to end the Agniveer scheme. Regarding MSP, he said that those who could not build a market, how will they give a legal guarantee of MSP. Akhilesh Yadav mentioned that the Old Pension Scheme was not mentioned in the President’s address and said that the schemes of the previous governments for weavers have been stopped.

Where did the income of farmers double?

He said that this government has not given jobs to the youth, many jobs have been snatched from them, so I would say that there is no hope of jobs or employment in your rule. Because you have made small businessmen so small that they can neither give employment nor run their business. Even if some jobs come, then in the name of integrity, associates are kept. No government has messed up with reservation as much as this government has. Jobs are not being given deliberately because reservation has to be given. Hope this government will continue till then, till then there will be real arrangements for the poor, women, farmers and youth at its center, not on paper. We hope that next time there will be the President’s address, not a government speech. The government should put forth its words with truth.

Akhilesh said that the government kept saying that we will double the income of farmers. Today the farmers of the whole country are seeing, where has the income doubled? Inflation has increased everywhere. Not a single new market has been built in UP. How can we trust a government that can create a market to move ahead on MSP?
