Centre’s gift to Uttarakhand, thermal power plant gets approval

There is good news for Uttarakhand from the Center in the field of energy. The thermal power plant demanded by the state has been approved by the central government.

Energy Secretary and Meenakshi Sundaram, while giving information, said that the demand made by the state to the central government regarding the thermal power plant has been approved. R Meenakshi Sundaram said that the demand made by the state for coal link regarding the thermal power plant has been fulfilled.

Power thermal power plant will be installed in Odisha

Let us tell you that the power plant will be installed in Odisha. The tender process will also be done for this by December 2025. This plant of 1000 MW power generation will be installed. Along with this, R Meenakshi Sundaram says that the obstacles of eight hydropower projects which are stuck are being removed. Allotment of six new projects has been done. While the DPR of 16 projects has been approved. Focus is also being done on solar and pump storage.

Now there can be an increase in power generation

In such a situation, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had given the target of doubling the power generation in Uttarakhand in a review meeting two days ago.
