Red alert issued for heavy rain today
Heavy to very heavy rain is expected in many areas of Uttarakhand today. The Meteorological Center has issued a red alert for heavy rain in some districts of Kumaon. According to the forecast issued by the center, Nainital, Bageshwar, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Almora and Pithoragarh of Kumaon are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rain. Along with this, an orange alert for rain has been issued in Dehradun, Pauri, Tehri and Haridwar districts of Garhwal.
