Uttarakhand / Champawat: Trouble in the rainy season! Aunt and nephew died due to snake bite, mourning prevails in the family

A teenager and his aunt, residents of village Nayakgoth in Tanakpur, were bitten by a snake, which caused their death. The family is in a state of panic due to two deaths at the same time. It is being told that both were bitten by a krait snake, which caused their death.
According to the information, 19-year-old Sujal Tamta, son of Suresh Tamta, resident of Gram Sabha Nayakgoth and his aunt Rekha Devi, wife of Bhagwan Ram, age 47, were bitten by a snake that entered their room. When the snake bit them, both were in deep sleep. They suddenly screamed due to the snake bite, on which the family came to know that both were bitten by a snake. The family took them for treatment in a hurry. From where the doctors gave them first aid and referred them to a higher center. Sujal and his aunt Rekha Devi died on the way. Kotwal Yogesh Upadhyay said that the Panchnama process is being done after taking the bodies of both in possession.
On the other hand, Kedar Brijwal, Nodal Officer of the Chief Minister’s Camp Office, said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed condolences by talking to the family members. The Forest Officer has been instructed to provide all possible help and proper compensation to the victim’s family. The Forest Department official said that the Forest Department team is reaching the spot and collecting information about the incident from the family members. Snakebite will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report comes. The deceased Kishore was an 11th class student of Dayanand Inter College Tanakpur. It is said that the snake has bitten the teenager on the right hand.
