Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Waterlogging at many places in Doon after rain, Congress raises questions

Monsoon season has arrived in the state. Due to rain, the problem of waterlogging is seen everywhere in the capital Dehradun. The situation is such that 1 hour of rain fills the city to the brim. Congress is constantly raising questions on the ruling party regarding the problem of waterlogging in the city due to rain.

Waterlogging at many places in Doon during monsoon

Due to rain, waterlogging is being seen at many places in Doon. Congress has raised questions about this. Congress state spokesperson Sheeshpal Singh Bisht says that Uttarakhand is a state with geographical conditions. Land slides occur in mountainous areas. Waterlogging problem is seen everywhere in the plains. Due to which the outbreak of dengue and chikungunya also increases and last year dengue took the form of an epidemic.

The government and administration are not paying attention to waterlogging

Sheeshpal Singh Bisht says that the opposition is constantly alerting the government that all preparations should be made this year by learning lessons from last year. There should be proper arrangement for drainage. But the government administration is not paying any attention to this and is just sleeping like Kumbhakaran.
