Uttarakhand: Responsibilities of 17 officers including 15 IAS officers reshuffled, disaster management removed from Ranjit Sinha
In the administrative reshuffle at the government level, the responsibilities of 15 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been reshuffled. Housing has been removed from Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Urban Development from Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu and Disaster Management Department from Secretary Dr. Ranjit Sinha. IAS Shailesh Bagauli has again been given the responsibility of Home Secretary.
During the Lok Sabha elections, the charge of Home Secretary was removed from him and given to Secretary Dilip Jawalkar. Bagauli will also look after the prison. Bagauli has been relieved from the post of Secretary Information Technology and Science Technology. Jawalkar has been given the charge of Cooperation.
According to the order issued by the Personnel Vigilance Department, keeping the departments of Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram intact, he has been given the charge of Housing, Commissioner Housing, Chief Administrator Uttarakhand Housing and Urban Development Authority, Chief Executive Officer Haridwar, Rishikesh Ganga Corridor Project. Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has been relieved from Housing, Chief Administrator Uttarakhand Housing and Urban Development Authority. The rest of the departments will remain the same.
Secretary Nitesh Jha, who returned from study leave, has been given the responsibility of Urban Development, Information Technology and Science Technology. Secretary BVRC Purushottam has been given the responsibility of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Development and Director Fisheries. Disaster Management and Rehabilitation, State Disaster Management Authority, Project Director Externally Aided Projects have been removed from Secretary Ranjit Kumar Sinha. He has been given the responsibility of Technical Education.
Secretary Hari Chandra Semwal has been relieved from Panchayati Raj and given the responsibility of Women Empowerment and Child Development and Commissioner Food. Census, Sanskrit Education, Women Empowerment and Child Development Department has been removed from Secretary Chandresh Yadav and given the responsibility of Panchayati Raj. Social Welfare, Commissioner Social Welfare, Chairman Multipurpose, Finance Development Corporation have been removed from Secretary Brijesh Kumar Sant and all these responsibilities have been given to Secretary Dr. Neeraj Khairwal. Planning has been removed from Khairwal. Commissioner Food has been removed from Sant and he has been given the charge of Secretary Transport and Commissioner Transport.
Secretary Dr. Surendra Narayan Pandey has been removed from the posts of Housing, Commissioner Housing, Additional Chief Administrator Housing and Urban Development Authority, Chief Executive Officer Haridwar-Rishikesh Ganga Corridor Project, Finance and Director Audit and given the charge of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare. Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman has been removed from Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Development and Cooperation and given the charge of Secretary Disaster Management and Rehabilitation, Secretary SDMA, Project Director Externally Aided. Indian Communication Service officer Deepak Kumar has been given the responsibility of Secretary Census, Sanskrit Education and IFS Parag Madhukar Dhakate has been given the responsibility of Special Secretary Water Resources.
