Uttarakhand: The officials flouted the CM’s announcement, Pirul is being bought at Rs 3 per kg and not 50

When CM Dhami reviewed after thousands of hectares of forest were destroyed by fire in the month of May, Pirul was considered to be a major cause of forest fires. To get rid of which, the CM had decided to buy it at the government level. CM Dhami had made the Pollution Control Board the nodal agency and ordered to buy Pirul at the rate of Rs 50 per kg. But the Forest Department is buying Pirul at the rate of just three rupees per kg, bypassing the orders of CM Dhami.

Officials are also bypassing the orders of the CM

The government made a plan to buy Pirul to reduce the incidents of forest fire. CM Dhami made the Pollution Control Board under the Forest Department the nodal agency to buy Pirul. The CM had ordered to buy Pirul at the rate of Rs 50 per kg. But when people started collecting and when they sold it, it was found that Pirul was being bought not for fifty rupees but for three rupees per kg.

It was said to buy Pirul at 50 rupees per kg

Let us tell you that it was said to pay 50 rupees for one kg of Pirul. Along with this, it was also said to build more than 250 Pirul collection centers across the state. For this, CM Dhami had ordered to make Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board a nodal agency and create a corpus fund of 50 crores.

But when people sold Pirul, it was found that the department was paying three rupees per kg for it. But the question arises that when CM Dhami had ordered to buy it for fifty rupees per kg, then why is it being bought at three rupees per kg? Why are the forest department officials also ignoring the orders of the CM.
