The Lebanese Hezbollah group says in this matter that it has fired more than 200 rockets at several military bases in Israel in response to the attack.

The recent attack by the Iran-backed terrorist group was one of the biggest attacks in the months-long tension on the Lebanon-Israel border, tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have increased over the past few weeks.

Several rockets including weapons were launched

The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the attack. It acknowledged on Wednesday that it had killed Mohammed Naameh Nasser, who led one of Hezbollah’s three regional divisions in southern Lebanon, a day earlier.

A few hours later, Hezbollah launched several Katyusha rockets and flak rockets with heavy weapons into northern Israel and the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. It launched more rockets on Thursday. The US and France are constantly struggling to prevent these clashes from turning into a full-blown war, which the US fears could spread across the Arab world.
