Russia Ukraine War: Russia captured another big city of Ukraine, Zelensky called back the army

After months of fighting, the Russian army finally captured the Chasiv Yar city in Ukraine’s Donetsk province. Ukraine has announced the withdrawal of its army from this strategically important city. Whereas Russia has said that it had taken control of the city on Wednesday night.

In this way, Ukraine has lost another city in the battle that has been going on for about 29 months. In this war, Russia has so far captured more than 20 percent of Ukraine’s territory.

Now it will be easier for Russia to capture the city

The city of Chasiv Yar, which has come under the control of the Russian army, is strategically very important. The capture of this city will make it easier for Russia to capture two important cities of Ukraine – Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. Ukraine has said that it was considered better to call back the soldiers for their safety, so it was decided to leave Chasiv Yar.

We do not have enough weapons to fight – Zelensky

Pro-Russian Ukrainian rebels have occupied a part of Donetsk since 2014. The Russian army has expanded its hold on the province since the war began in February 2022. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that his army’s 14 brigades do not have enough weapons to fight. Russia is benefiting from this.

Russian S-350 is proving to be an edge over Western missiles

Russia’s Defense Ministry has said that its S-350 air defense system is capable of detecting Western missiles and destroying them in the sky. It said that this system is capable of thwarting Western ballistic and cruise missiles. Along with this, this system is also thwarting attacks from fighter planes, helicopters, drones and weapons up to 16 inches.
