Uttarakhand: Water filled in 150 houses in Haldwani, people spent the night on the four-lane highway,

Rain is raining like a disaster in the state. The havoc of heavy rain is being seen from the mountains to the plains. Due to heavy rains in Haldwani, the drains are overflowing. Due to the overflowing of Raksiya drain, water has entered 55 houses. Along with this, 150 houses in entire Haldwani are flooded.

Rain water filled in 150 houses in Haldwani

After the alert of heavy rain, a scene of devastation is being seen in Haldwani. Due to not removing the debris from the drains and not making the outlet of Raksiya drain, 150 houses in Haldwani are flooded. Due to which people have suffered a loss of more than 50 lakh rupees till now.

More than 80 people spent the night on the four-lane highway

Due to rain water filling near Amla Chowki Gate, 30 houses were submerged in six feet of water. Due to which people had to leave their homes and spend the night outside. More than 80 people spent the night on the four-lane highway amid heavy rain.

Due to the overflowing of Rasakiya drain, dirty water entered 55 houses. Along with dirty water, snakes and scorpions also reached people’s houses. People’s household items and even rations have been spoiled.

Water from Devkhadi drain entered 10 houses

Due to heavy rain, there is chaos in Haldwani. Water also entered Nagar Nigam Kiu Colony. Waterlogging situation persists in 12 houses of the colony. Along with this, due to the overflowing of Devkhadi drain, its water entered ten houses of Hydel area.
