139 roads blocked in Uttarakhand, schools closed in these districts amid rain warning

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rain in different parts of Uttarakhand on July 5 and 6.

Schools are also closed in Nainital and Pauri due to rain. At the same time, 139 roads are closed due to landslides at various places due to rain. For this, 121 machines have been deployed so that the closed roads can be opened as soon as possible. At present, most parts of the state including Dehradun are cloudy. Let us tell you that heavy rain was recorded in Nainital last night.

On the other hand, due to the rain at night, waterlogging has occurred at many places in the city and normal life has been affected. Let us tell you that about 50 meters long tunnel is located on the Kedarnath Highway in Rudraprayag, the front part of this tunnel broke due to rain.
