Three sons of Uttarakhand honored for their unparalleled courage and bravery, CM Dhami congratulated them

Three brave soldiers of Uttarakhand have been honored for their unparalleled courage and bravery. Major Ravindra Singh Rawat has been awarded the Shaurya Chakra for his indomitable courage. Along with this, Major Sachin Negi of Grenadiers 55th Battalion has been awarded the Shaurya Chakra and Para Commando Major Digvijay Singh Rawat has been awarded the Kirti Chakra.

Three sons of Uttarakhand honored for bravery

Major Ravindra Singh Rawat of Uttarakhand has been awarded the Shaurya Chakra by the Government of India. Major Rawat, while posted in the 44 National Rifles (Rajput) of the Indian Army, participated in 11 successful operations and played an important role in eliminating 28 terrorists. Let us tell you that Major Ravindra Singh Rawat is originally from Angot village of Chamoli. His family currently lives in Dehradun. Major Rawat is serving in the army as the third generation. His father and grandfather were also in the Indian Army.

Major Sachin Negi awarded Shaurya Chakra

Grenadier Major Sachin Negi has been awarded the Shaurya Chakra. Major Negi is posted in the 55th Battalion of the National Rifles. Let us tell you that Major Negi has participated in many successful operations during his tenure with the National Rifles since November 2020. During this, his battalion eliminated 14 terrorists.

Major Digvijay Singh is a resident of Pauri Garhwal

Major Digvijay Singh of Uttarakhand has been awarded the Kirti Chakra. Major Rawat is originally from Dhumakot in Pauri Garhwal district. He completed his schooling from Srinagar Garhwal. Let us tell you that Digvijay became a part of the Indian Army through technical entry. After serving in the Bengal Engineering Unit in Roorkee, he was selected for Para in the year 2014.
