The roads were closed due to debris near Bhanerpani (Pipalkoti), old Nagar Panchayat Pipalkoti and Chhinka. Which has now been opened. At the same time, Badrinath National Highway has been closed due to debris in Kanchen Ganga Nala. The blocked highway road near Pagalnala and Helang has also been opened for movement.
At the same time, Rishikesh Badrinath National Highway has been blocked due to landslide from the hill near Pinale Ghat between Govind Ghat Joshimath. The work of opening the closed highway has been started by the NH Authority. Due to the rain in Chamoli for the last 3 days, the water level of the rivers has started increasing gradually. For safety, the administration is instructing the people living on the river banks and around the rivers to be cautious.

Today, on Saturday, holiday has been declared in all the schools in view of the possibility of heavy rain in Chamoli district. The National Highway has been blocked at Kanchan Ganga, Pagal Nala, Bhaner Pani, Pinola Ghat, Chhinka and Kameda in the district, which is being continuously tried to be opened.
