The accident is being investigated under the leadership of ADG Agra and Aligarh Commissioner. Statements of 100 people including DM-SSP have been recorded in the investigation. After this accident on the afternoon of July 2, the order for SIT investigation was issued from the Chief Minister level. While giving the responsibility of SIT to ADG Agra Zone Anupam Kulshreshtha and Divisional Commissioner Chaitra V, a report was summoned within 24 hours, in which the biggest question is to expose the root cause of the accident and the negligence and oversights.
SIT told the reason for the accident
In the initial information, SIT has told the reason for the accident to be the big negligence of the organizers. It mentions things like not making proper arrangements on the part of the organizers and hiding it even after the accident. Although this report was to be given on Wednesday itself, but the investigation could not be completed due to the Chief Minister’s visit to Hathras on Wednesday along with the relief and rescue work going on. The officials had sought three days extra time for the investigation, after which the investigation report has been submitted today. It includes statements of every policeman posted at the spot and employees-officers of all other departments, personnel with initial information, ambulance personnel, doctors, doctors doing post-mortem, farmers, eyewitnesses, injured, tehsil and district level officers, DM-SSP etc.
