Uttarakhand: BJP has deployed star campaigners in Badrinath-Mangalore assembly, CM will hold half a dozen public meetings in the next three days

The BJP has thrown star campaigners into its campaign for the by-elections on the Badrinath and Mangalore assembly seats. In the next three days, from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, party’s state in-charge Dushyant, co-in-charge Rekha Verma to the ministers of the state government, everyone has geared up for campaigning. On Friday, the Chief Minister addressed an election meeting in Mangalore in favor of BJP candidate Kartar Singh Bhadana.

Let us tell you that in the 2022 assembly elections, the BJP lost the elections on Badrinath and Mangalore seats. The Mangalore seat was occupied by the BSP, while the Congress won the Badrinath seat. The BJP is very serious about the by-elections of these two seats and for the first time it is seen putting all its strength on the Mangalore seat. All the prominent leaders of the party are going to Mangalore and Badrinath one by one to campaign in support of the party candidate.

Now that only five days are left for voting on both the seats, the BJP’s campaign has gained momentum. Today, while Chief Minister Dhami was in Mangalore, Badrinath seat’s guardian Anil Baluni had taken charge of the campaign in Badrinath. Cabinet ministers Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Ganesh Joshi, Saurabh Bahuguna and other star campaigners of the party are touring.

Union ministers also brought in for campaigning

The party has also brought in Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary and Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta to make its campaign more aggressive on both the assembly seats. Tamta campaigned on the Badrinath assembly seat on Friday. Jayant is being called to campaign on the Mangalore seat.
