Drain water is flowing on the roads in Jayanagar Kalinagar, Uday Nagar, Shrirampur, Kulha Chandan Nagar, Khatola Durgapur, Anand Kheda Road. Due to lack of water drainage in front of many colonies of Neta Nagar, the colony is completely submerged. People are facing problems in the wards and localities.

Anger among the villagers

There is anger among the villagers due to the non-arrival of the revenue team in the rural area. At the same time, the water in the bore reservoir in Gularbhoj is above the danger level. 40 mm of rain has been recorded in Dineshpur. The river coming out of Shrirampur forest has started eroding agricultural land in many villages.

IMD issued alert for these districts

According to the forecast issued by the Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas of Nainital, Bageshwar, Dehradun, Pauri, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Uttarkashi, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Almora and Champawat on July 8. A yellow alert has been issued for this.
