Uttarakhand: Landslide near Ghudsil on Badrinath Highway, traffic halted, work to open the road continues

Monsoon rains have wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand. More than a hundred routes are getting closed every day due to landslides in the mountains. Along with this, movement in the mountains remains dangerous. Due to which people traveling on the mountains are being appealed to be cautious.

At the same time, the road is blocked due to heavy debris near Ghudsil on Badrinath Highway. Work is being done to open the road. At the same time, the blocked road near Baldauda bridge ahead of Vishnu Prayag in Badrinath Highway has been opened for traffic.

IMD issued alert for these districts

According to the forecast issued by Vikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas of Nainital, Bageshwar, Dehradun, Pauri, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Uttarkashi, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Almora and Champawat on July 8. A yellow alert has been issued for this.
