A villager had gone to Shaktifarm with his two companions to catch fish. But here he was swept away by the strong current of water. His friends tried to save him but when they failed, both of them fled from the spot. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and is searching for the villager.

A villager who went to Shaktifarm in Udham Singh Nagar district to catch fish was swept away. It is being told that on Sunday, Jagdish Mandal (40), son of Vinod, a resident of Nirmal Nagar, had gone to catch fish in the Dhaura Dam reservoir near Khairbatti with his two companions. During this, he was swept away by the strong current of water.

Fell into the water while throwing the net

It is being told that Jagdish fell into the water while throwing the net. Both his companions tried to pull him out of the strong current but they could not. After which they fled from there. After this incident, people from nearby areas gathered at the spot. On receiving information about this, the police reached the spot and started searching for the villager. Till the time of writing the news, there is no trace of the villager.
