Sad news is coming from Baijnath Tit Bazaar of Garud. A child died after drowning in a pit near his house. According to the information received, Deepak Verma’s only son Shantanu Verma (8), a resident of Tit Bazaar, was playing with his friend Kartik Verma (8) at a short distance from his house. During this time, he slipped and fell into a water pit.

Family members in shock

When Shantanu fell into the pit, his friend was shouting for help. Hearing Kartik’s screams, people present nearby reached the spot and pulled the child out of the pit. Shantanu was immediately taken to Baijnath Hospital. Where doctors declared him dead.
