Uttarakhand: Kedarnath MLA Shailarani Rawat passed away, CM Dhami expressed grief

Kedarnath MLA Shailarani Rawat died on Tuesday late evening at 10.30 pm. She breathed her last at Max Hospital in Dehradun. Shailarani was unwell for a long time. The legislator was fighting for life for the last two days. After hearing the news of her death, there is a wave of mourning in the state as well as the BJP.

CM Dhami expressed grief

CM Dhami has expressed grief over the death of the legislator. ‘The CM posted on X and wrote that the very painful news of the death of popular MLA Shaila Rani Rawat from Kedarnath Assembly was received. Her departure is an irreparable loss for the party and the people of the area.’

CM Dhami further wrote, ‘Shailarani Rawat’s dedication to duty and public service will always be remembered. I pray to God to give a place to the departed soul at his feet and give strength to the bereaved family and supporters to bear this immense pain.’
