Grandmother had brought up the girl
Naresh Chandra Jakhmola, working as Inspector of Police in Pithoragarh Police Line, found a girl wandering some time ago. When he questioned her, he came to know that she was a resident of Baluwakot. She has no parents. She was brought up by her grandmother. Grandmother also passed away ten years ago.
The girl had come to Pithoragarh in search of work
The girl told that she had come to Pithoragarh in search of work. Seeing the girl, Jakhmola decided to adopt her and also informed the police superintendent, Pithoragarh. He said that he would make the girl the daughter of Pithoragarh police and get her married. To get the girl married, he found a match and fixed her with Vipin, a resident of Thal.
After making her a bride, she was sent off with rituals
On Monday, Naresh Chandra Jakhmola got the girl married with rituals in Gauri Hall auditorium located in Police Line and sent off his daughter to her in-laws’ house.
