Maanvi Madhu Kashyap, a resident of Bihar, created history. Maanvi has become the country’s first transgender sub-inspector. On July 9, 2024, the Police Service Commission declared the results of the sub-inspector recruitment examination. In which a total of 1275 candidates were selected.

Three transgenders were also selected in this. In such a situation, this is the first time in the history of India that a transgender has become a sub-inspector. Maanvi Madhu Kashyap of Bhagalpur, Bihar has become the first female transgender in the country. Let us tell you that transgender sub-inspector Maanvi is a transwoman. Apart from her, two trans men have also become sub-inspectors.

Maanvi, a resident of Bhagalpur, Bihar, has attributed her success to her family, teacher and social worker Reshma Prasad. According to Maanvi, it is not easy for her or any transgender to reach this point. Her journey was full of challenges and difficulties. She has reached here because of the support of her teacher and family.

Manvi’s life was full of difficulties

Manvi has faced many problems in her life. She told how she used to wear a dupatta in the society to hide her identity. In the ninth grade, she came to know that she is a transgender. She did not care what people think. But people still interfered in her life.

When she was studying in Patna, her mother used to meet her secretly. She has not been able to go home for the last nine months. In such a situation, after becoming a sub-inspector, Manvi wants to go to the village wearing a uniform and also wants to meet her family and salute her mother. Let us tell you that in her family there is her mother, one brother and two sisters.
