In a filmy style, a lover threatened his girlfriend’s groom sitting in the wedding pavilion and shared objectionable photos and videos of the bride before taking the wedding rounds. Angered by this, the groom refused to take the wedding rounds with the bride and took the wedding procession back. Now the bride’s father has filed a case against the accused lover and has also accused him of pelting stones at the wedding procession. At present, the police has started taking legal action.

A farmer’s daughter’s wedding procession came from a village in the Adampur police station area. After eating food, the wedding procession started with great pomp. The baraatis who came in the wedding procession were also walking while dancing to the tune of DJ. After the wedding procession, the groom’s Tilak was duly done. After this, the baraatis reached the Janmasha. The bride’s side got busy preparing for the wedding rounds of the bride and groom.

After this, the groom sitting in the Janmasha was called along with his family for the wedding rounds. Meanwhile, while sitting in the mandap, the bride’s lover sent objectionable photos and videos of the bride to the groom’s phone and called him and said, “The one you are going to marry is my girlfriend. If you marry her, the result will not be good.” On seeing the objectionable photos and videos with the bride’s lover, the groom refused to take the wedding vows. After this, a panchayat was held in the village for several hours till late at night. When the matter was not resolved, the people of the bride and groom’s side reached the police station. When the matter was not resolved here also, the groom returned to his village without a wedding procession. On the other hand, a complaint has been lodged in the police station against the accused youth on behalf of the bride. On the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused Kamal under the relevant sections, section 74, section 352, section 351 (2) and section 351 (4) of BNS and further action has been started.
