Boulders falling continuously from the hill near Joshimath
After heavy rains, the mountains of Uttarakhand have become dangerous. Today is the third day since the highway has been closed. But boulders are coming down from the mountains intermittently. BRO workers are busy removing the boulders. But once again a huge boulders fell on the road from the hill. Somehow the workers working there saved their lives by running away.
IMD issued alert for these districts
According to Vikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in the capital Dehradun, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar and Champawat districts on Thursday. The rest of the districts will remain partly cloudy with light to moderate rain. Along with this, people have been advised not to go to landslide affected areas.
