Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed displeasure over the continuous delay in the construction of Sainik Dham and gave strict instructions to complete the construction work by October 15 at any cost.

Strong indications of not increasing the budget in future

Let us tell you that in the meeting of the high-level committee held in the Secretariat Dehradun regarding the construction of Sainik Dham, the CM also gave strong indications of not increasing the budget in future. The Chief Minister said that the construction should be completed with the budget of Rs 94 crore fixed so far. He has also asked to immediately cancel the order banning construction work within 500 meters of the Sainik Dham. The CM directed the Sainik Welfare Minister to regularly review the construction works. After the construction of Sainik Dham, MDDA will maintain and operate it.

Instructions to DM Sonika to take effective action

Directions were also given to Doon DM Sonika to take effective action to resolve the land dispute coming in the construction of Sainik Dham. Expressing disagreement with the ban on construction work within 500 metres of Sainyadham, the CM asked to cancel the order made in this regard.
