Uttarakhand’s first super natural horror film “Asgar” is releasing in Dehradun’s Centrio Mall from July 19, Abhinav Chauhan of Jaunsar has played the lead role
The cinema of folk languages of Uttarakhand is constantly developing. In this sequence, Uttarakhand’s first super natural horror film “Asgar” is ready for release and is releasing from July 19 at Centrio Mall, Dehradun. This film has been produced under the banner of Aayushi Films and through this film, Uttarakhand film industry is going to get two new faces. The trailer of the film has been launched. The film has already become a topic of discussion among the people. This film based on a true incident is very thrilling and the climax of the film is going to surprise the audience. Writer director Anuj Joshi and his entire team are very excited about this film. Abhinav Chauhan and Maanvi Patel are in the lead roles in this film. While Maanvi Patel has made her debut with the Oriya feature film Oyaanjali, Abhinav Chauhan has made his mark with his sweet voice and chocolatey look in his music videos.
Till now he has worked in many Bollywood films, web series, dramas and albums. Mainly he has worked in MTV reality show Mr. and Mrs., Karan Johar’s film Student of Year Part 2, web series “Peshawar” and Doordarshan serial. Also he has spread the magic of his voice and acting in many Jaunsari and Garhwali albums.
After graduating from Delhi University, Abhinav Chauhan turned towards films and music. After getting training in acting from Mumbai, he took music lessons from renowned music teacher Vandana Srivastava in Dehradun.
Abhinav Chauhan is also in the lead role in Jaunsari dialect’s first film “Mare Gaon Ki Baat” which will be released in November. Till now no film has been made in Jaunsari dialect. This will be the first film. Apart from this, in the coming time, along with acting in many regional and Hollywood films, he will also lend his voice to the songs.
Amit V Kapoor has given wonderful music in the film, lyricist Jitendra Panwar has written heart touching songs, the film’s producer Suman Verma has also praised this place and said that Uttarakhand film industry has immense possibilities, the beautiful valleys here, the beautiful culture here, the hospitality of the people and the spirit of cooperation are really worthy of praise. The line producer of the film is Sumit Kharbanda, co-producer is Sanjay N Srivastava, DOP is Harish Negi, associate director is Deepak Rawat, casting director is Abhishek Mandola. The other actors playing characters in the film are Anil Sharma, Rakesh Gaur, Madan Duklan, Sanyogita Dhyani, Umesh Badoni, Kuldeep Aswal, Riya Sharma, Jagmohan Budhana etc.
