228 kg gold disappeared from Kedarnath, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda’s allegation created a stir
On the Kedarnath temple being built in Delhi, Jyotirmath’s Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda alleged that there has been a gold scam in Kedarnath. Why is that issue not raised? After the scam there, will Kedarnath be built in Delhi now? And then there will be another scam. 228 kg of gold is missing from Kedarnath. No investigation has been started. Who is responsible for this? Now they are saying that Kedarnath will be built in Delhi. Swami Avimukteshwarananda said that this cannot happen.

Shankaracharya meets Uddhav Thackeray
After coming out of Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray’s residence in Mumbai, Jyotirmath’s Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda clearly said that Kedarnath temple cannot be built in Delhi. He said that we believe in Hinduism. There are twelve Jyotirlingas in Hinduism. Their place is fixed. This is wrong. There was a scam of 228 kg gold in Kedarnath. No one cares about it. In response to a question, he said that he is not an enemy of PM Modi but a well-wisher of PM Modi.
Questions were raised a day before too
Jyotirmath’s Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati expressed his displeasure over the ground breaking ceremony of the temple in the name of Shri Kedarnath Dham in the country’s capital Delhi and questioned the Kedarnath Dham Trust and the Uttarakhand state government. He had said that why is there a need to build a temple in the name of Kedarnath Dham in the capital Delhi. He called it a malicious attempt to reduce the dignity and importance of Kedarnath Dham. Shankaracharya said that Kedarnath situated in the central Himalayas is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. It has been called Himalaya tu Kedaram in the Puranas. The Jyotirlinga situated in Kedarnath has been called the Jyotirlinga of Satyug.
Will not let it succeed
Swami Avimukteshwaranand said that any plan to reduce the existence and importance of Kedarnath Dham, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, will not be allowed to succeed.
Shankaracharya ji said that it is not appropriate for the Chief Minister and MLAs to be present in the Bhoomi Pujan program of the temple named Kedarnath Dham by a private trust. The Uttarakhand state government should also consider this. Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati ji Maharaj said that a temple cannot be established anywhere in the name of Kedarnath Dham. If they want to establish a temple, then they can establish the temple by any other name. There is no objection to this. He advised the concerned people not to do such an act while respecting public sentiments.
