Got more votes than last time, Trivendra Singh Rawat’s big statement on BJP’s defeat in Uttarakhand assembly by-election

BJP had to face defeat in the by-elections held on Badrinath and Mangalore assembly seats of Uttarakhand. Congress candidates won both the seats. Amidst the ongoing reactions on the results of the by-election, BJP leader and Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat made a big statement on Sunday. In Haridwar, Trivendra Singh Rawat said that in the results of the 2022 assembly elections, 18,000 votes were received in favor of BJP on the Mangalore seat. This time the BJP candidate has got more than 31,000 votes, that is, we have got about 13,000 more votes this time.
He said that the Mangalore seat was earlier with the BSP and the Congress has snatched that seat from the BSP. At the same time, the Badrinath seat has also been retained by the Congress, in the results that have come, it is clearly visible that the BJP has benefited in terms of votes. The Bharatiya Janata Party is in its place.
Let us tell you that the BJP had fielded Kartar Singh Bhadana on the Mangalore seat of Uttarakhand, where he was pitted against Congress’s Qazi Mohammad Nizamuddin. In Badrinath, BJP had fielded Rajendra Bhandari by giving him a ticket, he was pitted against Lakhpat Singh Butola of Congress. BJP had to face defeat on both the seats. BSP had won the Mangalore seat in the earlier Uttarakhand assembly elections, but this time BSP has lost this seat. In this way, BSP has become zero in Uttarakhand after UP.
