Uttarakhand: Congress will introspect on the reasons of defeat in Lok Sabha elections, Fact Finding Committee has been formed

After the Lok Sabha elections and by-elections in two assembly seats in Uttarakhand, a period of brainstorming has started in political parties. On one hand, BJP held a meeting of the working committee today. On the other hand, the Congress party will also discuss the reasons for the defeat with workers and officials after the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections.
Congress will brainstorm on the reasons for the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections
Since 2014, the Congress party has been continuously losing all five Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand. This time too, the BJP won all five seats in Uttarakhand with a huge majority. Despite all efforts, this time the Congress party remained empty-handed. After the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, there is going to be a brainstorming in the Congress party about the reasons for the defeat.
Fact Finding Committee Formed
A fact finding committee has been formed by the Congress high command to discuss the reasons for the defeat in Uttarakhand. Members of this fact finding committee, senior Congress leader and former MP PL Poonia and MP Rajni Patil are reaching Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun.
From July 18 to July 20, the members of this committee will hold meetings with the Lok Sabha wise state president, Lok Sabha candidates, MLAs, former MLAs, former ministers and officials of various committees. After discussing the reasons for the defeat, this committee will submit its report to the party high command.
This meeting is important for the next strategy
After the recent by-elections on two assembly seats, civic and panchayat elections are going to be held in Uttarakhand. Therefore, this meeting is considered important for the next strategy along with the defeat. But BJP has raised questions on this fact-finding committee meeting of Congress. BJP media in-charge Manbir Singh Chauhan said that Congress is not going to gain anything from this meeting. The people of Uttarakhand were with BJP earlier and will remain with BJP in future as well.
