A case of murder of a laborer has come to light from Tehri. The body of the laborer has been recovered from near the Nagar Panchayat Lambgaon parking. The police have taken the body of the deceased into custody and sent it for post-mortem.

The deceased has been identified as Gaurav Pun Krishna (26), a resident of Delhi. According to the information, Gaurav was working in the under-construction building of Nagar Panchayat Lambgaon along with his three other colleagues. Regarding the matter, contractor Deepak Panwar told the police that four workers working in the building were not coming to work since July 13, saying that they had gone to Uttarkashi for their personal work.
Police engaged in investigation
Contractor Deepak Panwar said that on the night of July 14, a laborer called and told that a fellow laborer working with us has been murdered. His body has been thrown near the Nagar Panchayat parking. When the police went to the spot, the body of the laborer was recovered from the bushes. It is being told that after the body was found, other companions of the laborer are absconding. At present, the police are looking for three other workers. At present, the police have registered a case against three workers on the complaint of the contractor.
