Laksar Kotwali Police has arrested an accused with a country-made pistol during an intensive checking campaign. Police has also recovered a live cartridge from the possession of the accused youth. It is being told that the accused was planning to carry out a major incident.

According to Laksar Kotwali Police, Haridwar SSP Pramod Singh Dobal has given instructions to conduct intensive checking campaign by forming different police teams to curb suspicious persons and anti-social elements involved in criminal activities in the district.
Accused caught by police with country-made pistol
On the instructions of SSP, Laksar Police has arrested an accused with a country-made pistol and a live cartridge during checking in the area. The accused youth has been identified as Pratap son of Naresh, resident of Muzaffarnagar. Who was planning to carry out a major incident in Laksar area. Police has registered a case against the accused under the Arms Act and presented him before the court and sent him to jail.
