Work on Delhi-Dehradun Expressway halted midway, work stuck due to a house

Expressway is being built between Dehradun and Delhi and it is expected to be completed soon. But at present this work is stuck in the middle. The reason for this is a house. A house is coming in the way of the expressway near Mandola. This matter is currently going on in the High Court.

Work on Delhi-Dehradun Expressway stopped in the middle

The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway has been completed from Akshardham to Baghpat. Its testing process is also going on. But in the meantime its work has stopped near Mandola. The reason for the work stopping is a house. Actually a house is coming in the way of the expressway and this matter is currently going on in the High Court. The hearing of the case was to be held on July 10. But due to the hearing on the next date, this matter is stuck again.

Construction of service road cannot be done till the hearing of the case

The construction of service road cannot be done till the matter of the house coming in the way near Mandola is finalized. Due to non-construction of service road, this project will be considered incomplete. Although the elevated road of Delhi-Dehradun Expressway can be opened, but the service road cannot be opened. Due to which people will have to face difficulties.

Work stuck due to a house

Let us tell you that near Mandola, where the service road is to be built, a person’s house is built there. Due to the house coming in the middle, 1.6 hectares of land was to be acquired by the Housing Development Council and given for free. But during the acquisition of the land, there was a dispute regarding the rate. Due to the dispute, the matter reached the High Court. Since the matter reached the High Court, the work of the service road is stopped.

There will be relief from the jam of Yamunapar and Loni

Let us tell you that after the completion of this expressway, there will be no jam of Yamunapar and Loni in Delhi. Till now, it used to take six to seven hours to go to Delhi via Delhi-Saharanpur route. Whereas it used to take five hours to go via Delhi-Meerut route. With the completion of this expressway, Delhi can be reached in just two and a half hours.
