Uttarakhand: Heavy rain wreaks havoc, one dead, one injured after debris falls on house
There is chaos in Uttarakhand due to heavy rains. After heavy rains in Joshimath, debris fell on a kutcha house. One person died due to being buried under the debris. While one person was seriously injured. The injured has been taken to the Community Health Center for treatment.
One died due to debris falling on the house
According to the information received, some people informed the police post Marwari at around 1.30 am that some people of Nepali origin were buried under the debris due to debris falling on a nearby house. On receiving the information, the police and SDRA reached the spot and conducted a rescue operation.
One seriously injured
The police and SDRF pulled out two people from under the debris with the help of JCB. One of them died on the spot. While the other was seriously injured. The injured was taken to the Community Health Center with the help of 108. Where he is being treated. The deceased has been identified as M Bahadur age 35 years village Surkhet Nepal. Whereas Dinesh Bahadur son of Prem Bahadur village Kalikot Nepal age 22 years is injured.
