Roads in Uttarakhand will be pothole free as soon as monsoon ends, instructions given to increase GST collection

Due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand, most of the roads have been damaged. In such a situation, repairing the roads is a big challenge for the government. Now the Kanwar Yatra is also starting from July 22. In such a situation, efforts are being made by the government to overcome these challenges. In this episode, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a review meeting with senior officials at the government residence. During this, CM Dhami has given instructions to make the roads pothole-free within a month as soon as the monsoon season ends.
Kanwar Yatra is going to start in Uttarakhand from July 22, in view of whose security, while on the one hand the police department is engaged in the exercise of completing all the arrangements, on the other hand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the officials to complete all the preparations related to the Kanwar Yatra on time. Along with this, special attention has been asked to be paid to the cleanliness of the ghats and improving other arrangements including drinking water for the Kanwariyas.
Instructions to construct parking in vacant places: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that construction work should be allowed in the mountainous areas only according to the bearing capacity. Also, parking should be constructed in the vacant space at tourist places. So that the tourists coming to the tourist places do not have to face the problem of parking. All the government guest houses present in the state, whose condition is not good, should be identified and arranged. So that more and more tourists use the government guest house.
Instructions to increase GST collection: The Uttarakhand government had started the ‘Bill Lao Inam Pao’ scheme regarding the increase in GST. Due to which the GST collection had increased a lot, but even after the end of this scheme, the GST collection has started getting affected. Due to which CM Pushkar Dhami has asked the officials to run a large-scale campaign to stop GST theft and increase the collection. Along with this, instructions were given to promote digital payment as much as possible. So that GST theft can be curbed.
