Suddenly sparks started coming out of the bus going from Haldwani to Tanakpur and within no time smoke also started coming out. Seeing this, the passengers sitting in the bus got in a panic. People started screaming.
Suddenly sparks started coming out of the moving bus
The 44 seater bus (UK 07 PA 2934) of Tanakpur depot of Roadways going from Haldwani to Tanakpur left Tanakpur on Wednesday with passengers. Suddenly sparks started coming out of the bus on the way and smoke also started coming out. Seeing this, there was panic among the 35 passengers in the bus.
People came out of the window to save their lives
The passengers in the bus started coming out of the main gate as well as the windows as soon as the driver applied the brakes to save their lives. During this, the conductor showed prudence and pulled the wire of the battery and some passengers put sand on the sparks. Then the sparks stopped coming out. After this incident, the angry people misbehaved with the driver and conductor and also pushed them. After a long time, the people were pacified. After half an hour, the bus left for Tanakpur with the passengers.
