The machine, which looks like a space capsule, is called a suicide pod. The group that makes it says that a suicidal pod will be used for the first time in Switzerland in a few months. Through this, a person can die without any medical facility. It was first unveiled in the year 2019. According to AFP, the machine converts oxygen into nitrogen from inside, which causes the death of the person.

This is how it will be used, money will also have to be paid
If someone has to give up his life, then many things will be asked from him. Like what is your name, where do you live and then it is asked why you want to do this. When a person sitting in the machine presses the button, the oxygen present in the air will decrease from 21 percent to 0.05 percent in the next 30 seconds and in the next 3 to 4 minutes the person will fall asleep forever.

Florian Willet, chief executive of The Last Resort, said that once the button is pressed, there is no other option. The machine’s inventor, Philim Nietzsche, said that the person climbs into the capsule and closes the lid. The machine asks pre-recorded questions to the person lying inside, such as who they are, where they are and whether they know what happens when the button is pressed.

Couples can also die together
The minimum age limit for using the machine has been set at 50 years. If a person above 18 years of age is seriously ill, he can get an exemption. Money will have to be paid for using the machine. For now, 20 dollars have been fixed for this. However, the company is trying to make a double machine, in which couples can end their lives together. In future, its price can be 15,000 euros.
